The newly formed Spanish CLEL Bell Committee is currently reviewing children’s Spanish picture books that fall within the early literacy practices: Play, Read, Sing, Talk and Write.
This award uses common criteria with the English CLEL Bells Award, but in addition, we are looking for books that fall under one or more of the following guidelines:
- Originally published in Spanish
- Published as a bilingual Spanish and English title
- A Quality Spanish translation from an originally English title
Nominated books will be announced sometime in 2025 and winners during the 2025 CLEL Conference.
